When the recession hit around 2008 several real estate developments were put into moth balls. Now it seems like every month one of these developments springs back to life. First it was Hidden Lakes off Old Kings Road which it now BOOMING, Then nearby Toscana and Beach Haven off A1A. Last summer KB Homes began building on the vacant lots in Grand Landings they have already sold out all their inventory and a new builder called American Dream Finders is cutting in new roads for phase two. The latest community coming back to life is Eagle Lakes where Maronda Homes has purchased 19 lots and has just broken ground on a model home. Finally, we are seeing a lot of "in fill" building on scattered lots throughout the city. In my neighborhood in the canal section there are three new homes going up with in a short walk of each other.
